Renowned Leeds music venue the Royal Park Cellars has announced the opening of a brand new live music room, greatly increasing the venues capacity and allowing for two rooms of live music.

To celebrate the launch of this new room on Saturday 28th March, the venue will be hosting two fantastic musical events simultaneously! This is unmissable for any music fans, as the new music room will play host to the launch of the first Criminal Records showcase event in Leeds.

This all day pirate themed party, will feature 10 live acts plus DJs including a headline performance from Criminal Records all female London band - The Kut who are playing some spot dates whilst recording their eagerly awaiting debut album 'Lies My Mother Told Me'.

As well as a performance from all female punk rock band Hyenas in Petticoats, and music from Beretta Suicide, IKEA Death, Accept Decline and Going Forwards Backwards.

This is the perfect excuse to dress up, so grab your cutlass, inflatable parrot and pieces of eight, and check out some up and coming bands, at what will be Criminal Records first event of an on-going residency in Leeds.

Also taking place across the same weekend at the venue is the British Wildlife Event, which will showcase over 20 of Leeds finest bands.
