We have played gigs in Halifax, Castleford and TJ's in Leeds and are now focusing on the Leeds scene.

The band have just finished recording the debut album North of Number Seven at The Chairworks in Castleford.

Producers who have worked on the album are Ken Thomas (Sigur Ros, David Bowie, Enya) who loved the project so much that he asked to mix two of the tracks - the beautiful 'Lucy Eyes' and 'March of The Penguins'. Other producers on the album include Simon Humphrey (The Clash, The Beach Boys) and multi-million selling world music artist Richard Lacy.

When you need a good dose of no-nonsense British pop with hidden depths, you'd be hard pressed to find anything to beat 3 Man Bench's first offering to the world. A timeless, elegant piece of work which plums a depth of influences from the pop sensibility of XTC to the melodic hooks of Crowded House via the intricate musicality of The Beatles.

A bold statement, but when you sit and listen to 'North of Number Seven' you will find yourself transported to a world where brass bands mix with vintage keyboards & guitars to tell intricate stories of everyday life where optimism and melody are always king..
