Hyde Park based band Elephants On Acid have announced the release of their debut album - ‘From Tusk Till Dawn’ - on 12th October 2009.

Since the release of their eponymous 5-track EP in April 2008, Elephants On Acid have been going from strength to strength and are now gearing up for the release of their debut long player.

The 14-track album reveals a more intricate and sophisticated sound, mixing their familiar brand of psychedelic blues rock with smatterings of prog, reggae, punk and folk.

From the heavier barrage of ‘I Got Nothing’ and ‘Bad Whiskey’ and the chilled out vibes of ‘Lost Summer’ and ‘Take Me Away’ through to the lead song, the anthemic ‘Superstar’, the debut album showcases a new, intelligent sound for EOA.

To coincide with the album’s release the band will be playing Carpe Diem on 9th October.

‘From Tusk Till Dawn’ will be available in Crash Records and Jumbo Records in Leeds, as well as available to order from the band’s MySpace.

An 11-track version will also be available for download from iTunes.
