Leeds four-piece Sketches will release a new single on Monday 23rd November. The single, titled ‘Bleed Victoria’, follows on from the band’s acclaimed releases, the ‘Pelicanalia’ EP and their debut single, ‘Slow Start’.

‘Bleed Victoria’ was produced by Fraser Smith (Ian Brown) and was recorded in the crypt of a beautiful old local church. It is available as a 500 only limited edition vinyl and digital release through Label Fandango.

The band have been quietly garnering fans, with support for their work coming from the likes of Tom Robinson, Steve Lamacq (who recently made them his “Unsigned Band of the Week”), Janice Long, Fearne Cotton and Iain Baker.

Sketches also made the top ten best new bands at the ‘Red Stripe Music Awards’.

The band play their single launch at the Brudenell Social Club on Monday night.
