Louis Jones, the musician behind Spectrals released his debut EP through Moshi Moshi Records today (Monday, October 11th). Entitled 'Spectrals Extended Play', the EP is a collection of new and previously unreleased songs.

'Spectrals Extended Play' is available on CD in the UK and on limited 12" vinyl in the USA.

From the town of Heckmondwike, Louis has been brought up of a mixture of 60 & 70s soul, motown and doo-wop, and Spectrals' influences include Phil Spector, Diana Ross & The Supremes, The Isley Brothers alongside garage rock.

The single 'Peppermint' was out 4th October and the debut album from Spectrals (to be called 'Bad Penny') is expected to be released in early 2011.
