Leeds musicians are coming together this month in aid of charity.

The first gig will take place at Carpe Diem on Sunday 5th December and features Leesa Mae, Pray For Hayden, Raw Peaches, Cor Amor and The Blind Dead McJones Band. Doors open at 530pm.

The bands have all taken part in the "Naked Band Calendar 2011", which will also be launched that night. Calendars are priced at £5 each.

All proceeds from the gig and calendar will go to Cancer Research UK.

The second event is hosted by Music 4 Music Promotions and will be raising money for Nordoff Robbins, a charity that specialises in transforming the lives of children and adults constrained by illness, disability, trauma or isolation, through the power of music.

The gig takes place at Verve on 8th December. It is an open mic event, with featured artists Nigel Passey and Louisa Osborn.
