Having established one of the most popular SXSW showcases in 2009 and 2010, Yorkshire's Timeless Music Project is back once more at SXSW.

This year they have also teamed up with Generator, the North East's music development agency, to present a special Yorkshire and the North East showcase at the British Music Embassy venue.

The showcase takes place on March 19th and will feature bands Pulled Apart by Horses and Dinosaur Pile-up, along with musician David Thomas Broughton.

Other bands known to be appearing at SXSW this March include: Bear Driver, Juice, Rolo Tomassi, Tigers That Talked, Alvarez Kings, Threads Orchestra, Scars on 45, and Asking Alexandria.

The annual "Independent Sounds of Yorkshire and the Humber" compilation CD will again be handed out at the annual music conference.

This year the CD will feature all Yorkshire acts appearing at SXSW, plus Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Spectrals, Shake Aletti, Napoleon IIIrd, Black Diamond Bay, Tom Staar, Submotion Orchestra, Vessels, The Beaus, and End Of Level Baddie.

More information about the compilation CD can be found at the Music Yorkshire website.
