Leeds Festival Fringe are currently preparing the second week long festival which this year will run from 18th - 24th August.

Leeds Festival Fringe is a city centre based music festival that showcases unsigned musicians in the week prior to the Leeds and Reading Festival.

The event began life last year and 2011 will be their second year.

As well as the events across Leeds music venues, as in 2010, there are also plans underway for an outdoor event in the Leeds City Centre on Saturday 20th August 2011.

Organisers will be announcing further details in the very near future and are planning a series of warm-up gigs leading up to the August event.

Right now though, they would love to hear from everyone with an idea for Leeds Festival Fringe. For example:

- Do you want to host a night?
- Are you a venue interested in joining in?
- What do you want to see at Leeds Festival Fringe?

Leeds Festival Fringe is open to everyone's ideas and the organisers are really excited by the fact that people have already come forward with their input and support.

Although the support received so far has been tremendous, they still need your help, from spreading the word of Leeds Festival Fringe through to re-posting their logo, from joining their Facebook page and liking their website.
