Leeds 2012 tickets will go on sale at 9am today as part of an exclusive 48 hour pre-sale run by Vodafone VIP.

The general sale of Leeds tickets will be opened up to the rest of the general public at 715pm on Monday 12th March, when the line up is officially announced.

Prices for tickets are £197.50 for a weekend ticket and £85 for a day ticket.

You should only buy your ticket from official Leeds Festival 2012 ticket agencies, such as Ticketmaster and See Tickets. Other official online ticket agencies this year include Ticketline, Gigantic, Jumbo Records and Crash Records.

Fans who wish to take advantage of the Leeds Festival ticket installment scheme will be able to pay in 2 or 4 equal payments. This installment plan offer is only available via See Tickets, Ticketmaster and Ticketline.

If you prefer to buy tickets over the counter you can go to HMV in Leeds city centre from 6.15pm on Monday 12th March for a limited one-hour advance sale.

Alternatively, Leeds music fans can head to HMV, Jumbo Records or Crash Records from 9am on Tuesday 13th March.

The Leeds Visitor Centre at Leeds City Station will also be selling tickets on a 'cash only' basis at face value with no booking fees added.

Tickets are limited to 4 per person when buying online and 2 per person when buying over the counter at one of the outlets listed above.

The line up for Leeds 2012 has been the subject of many rumours and 'leaked' posters. Bands such as Foo Fighters, Kasabian, The Cure and local band Kaiser Chiefs all rumours to be appearing later this year.
