This is an archive of the band profile for The Imports.

Current Lineup:

Tom Fuller - Guitar, Vocals
Marcell Haslewood - Bass, Vocals
Eddy Fuller - Drums

We're an indie rock band from Leeds with influences taken from The Kinks, The Jam, The Who, Arctic Monkeys and a bit of Rush thrown in, with a focus on writing fresh, energetic music and lyrics.

Formed in 2009, when we were barely in our teens, The Imports' original lineup consisted of Tom Fuller (vocals, rhythm guitar), Marcell Haslewood (vocals, lead guitar), Ben Chand (bass guitar) and Eddy Fuller (drums).

In 2010, Ben Chand left and Marcell switched to Bass duties, leaving the current lineup we have to date. Our first gig was played in Harrogate in October 2010 and since then we have been building up a following in the local area.

In 2012 we have been recording a demo album at the Woolpack Studios, as well as building up a name around Leeds, playing several gigs around Headingley, as well as appearing on ELFM Radio, before supporting several bands at the Cockpit.

2013 has already seen the release of our collection of demos recorded at the Woolpack and a new EP entitled 'Medal' in the Spring, before our entry into the Martin House Centre Stage competition, and Yorkshire festivals tour in the Summer..
