Organisers of the Bingley Music Festival have today announced more bands for the 2012 line up. Pop soul sensation Maverick Sabre has been added to the line-up alongside hotly tipped new acts Delilah, The Idiot B*stard Band, StooShe and Yes Sir Boss.

The five additions join drum and bass chart-topper DJ Fresh, local guitar heroes The Pigeon Detectives, indie rockers Hard-Fi, Madchester survivors The Charlatans, folk duo Miles & Erica, and comedy band The Lancashire Hot Pots, who were all revealed last month.

Bingley Music Live will feature a new stage in 2012. The stage will be dedicated to local talent and has been organised in association with the Musician's Centre.

Bands who live in a BD postcode can apply for a slot on the stage. The closing date to get in touch and register your interest is Monday, 7th May. More information can be found at the Musician's Centre website.

Bingley Music Live takes place at Myrtle Park in Bingley over the weekend of 31st August to 2nd September 2012.

Weekend tickets cost £45 and are available online at See Tickets.
