Festival Republic, organisers of the annual Leeds Festival, have this week announced the line up for their self-named stage at event.

In years past the Festival Republic Stage has launched many of the stars of today's main stages, with the likes of Kasabian, Florence and The Machine, Black Keys, At the Drive In, All Time Low, The Maccabees, You Me at Six, and Bombay Bicycle Club all starting off on this stage.

This year the Festival Republic Stage will be headlined by The View (Friday) and Sleigh Bells (Saturday). There are joint headliners on the Sunday with duties shared by Feeder and Young Guns.

Also on the stages during the weekend are Benjamin Francis Leftwich and King Charles (all Friday); The Subways, Veronica Falls and Bastille (all Saturday); Lower Than Atlantis and Bassnectar (both Sunday).

There will be an acoustic set from The Futureheads on the Friday.
