Released on 8th October 2012 through Devil Duck Records their new album 'Add and Subtract' showcases Leeds-based band Scams as one of the finest upcoming indie/rock acts about.

Their experimental and varied instrumental sound demonstrates their range of musical interests, as well as highlighting frontman Andy's endless depth and expressiveness in his vocal talent.

The album was recorded and produced in Hamburg back in November 2011 by Johann Scheerer and mixed by Matt Wignall at his home in California.

Scams have since returned to the studio to play a full album live playback session recorded directly to tape and set for vinyl release at the end of 2012.

Having already gained support from XFM, Q Radio and Kerrang Radio, the band will release their second single 'Lifeboats' on 10th September.

In recent months Scams have been showcasing their sound in Europe and the US, and are rapidly establishing a reputation as genuine purveyors of dynamic sounds, and an infectious live act.

Supports so far have included New Politics, Cast, Azure Ray, Frankie and The Heartstrings and White Rabbits.
