This is an archive of the band profile for Cléa Knight.

Having earned her stripes busking in Leeds city centre, Clea's distinctive lyricism and classic folk voice quickly led to recognition from the LIPA Make It Break It Awards and airplay on BBC Introducing, North Yorkshire. From there Clea has gone from strength to strength, playing iconic Leeds venues such as the Brudenell Social Club and the Clothworkers' Centenary Concert Hall, and being invited to perform support slots for prestigious acts such as Marcus Foster, members of Fairport Convention and blues legends Rick Franklin and Sonny Black. Her lyrics draw heavily on literature and folklore, with a strong visual sensibility which she uses to unique effect.

With two self released Pockets already behind her, Clea is currently working on a third EP release, with plans for a debut album in late 2013..
