This is an archive of the band profile for Ten Seconds Of Chaos.

Ten Seconds Of Chaos have been busy hand-sculpting their sound from an already established prototype in the confines of a secret location in Leeds. Their genre-defying brand of highly energetic, melodic rawk has been evolving; creating a breed of powerful choruses, foot-stomping rhythms, passionate vocals, thunderous drums & driving bass-lines, which is all combined with reflective interludes.

Matt Higgins (vocals / guitars), Sam Leach (drums / programming) & Paul Relton (bass) are three like-minded individuals, who have thrown a great number of influences into the sonic mixer. Bands such as Biffy Clyro, Oceansize, At The Drive-In & Vex Red have all had a part to play, and there is something different about it; “…this band manage to make something regularly done sound unique & interesting.” The results of this can be best appreciated live in the high-octane, adrenaline-fuelled shows, which in the past has had reviewers tightly gripping their pints…

The new EP ‘On Second Thoughts’ is entirely self-recorded and mixed by the band. With differing studio recording outcomes in the past, the band feels this is way the way forward for the time being, in producing the live, raw feel they strive for.

With past efforts earning TSOC a place at the Carling Weekend Leeds Festival, the single-minded determination towards a common goal, the openness to fresh ideas, the genuine excitement & enthusiasm, and the ever-present creativity will hopefully see the band reach their potential and let their genuine voice be heard on a much larger scale..
