It's been a couple of weeks of activity in the charts for Leeds, as two local bands hit the UK Single and Album charts.

Last week saw The Music follow Embrace into the UK Singles Chart, with their single "Freedom Fighters" going straight in at number 15. The previous week had witnessed Embrace enter at number 7 with their Chris Martin-penned "Gravity".

And it is Embrace's latest album "Out Of Nothing" that tops the UK Album Chart this week!

"Out Of Nothing" is the band's second number one album, the first being "The Good Will Out" back in June 1998. The album went Gold on the first day of sale.

In the Official UK Indie Chart, Black Wire sit at Number 24 with their single "Hard To Love, Easy To Lay".
