This is a review of "Untitled" recorded by The Tennessee Traincrash. The review was written by Sam Saunders in 2003.

Yes!. It's very good. Panic over. Notes as follows:

Magazine: is "Run, Run, Run" interfering with "Born to be Wild" up against a wall in a Leeds back lane. Dark and dirty stuff with ... killer riffs and tunes.

Slut, Fuck, Fight: is guitar squawling repetitions of deparate boy passion vs thin ice dominatrix contempt in a brutal "does what it says on the tin" moment. Disturbing and powerful.

Lazy Bones: is Blondie down to her last lip gloss in biker shreds and fighting her way back up against machine gun drumming, a buzzing guitar and some loser bloke in a torn jumper. It's punk, as we first heard it from New York in the mid sixties, with sharp-eyed 2003 candour.
