Beautiful Feet have agreed that Leeds based independent film company Carey Films Ltd can use their single "Headstrong" in their new feature length film scheduled for general release later this year. The production, called "A Mind of Her Own" has 2 screenings booked in for this years Cannes Film Festival and a world wide distribution deal is hoped to be secured soon.

Rich Newman (drummer) attended a preview recently and commented "We were really pleased to be asked to be involved in this film and the song fits really well with the whole theme. It was a bit surreal to hear our track on the big screen, but I’m sure we can get used to that! It’s just a shame we don’t get to take a trip to Cannes ourselves!"

Beautiful Feet are currently putting the finishing touches to their next single which will be released on their own label 5-1 Records in early May. They will be playing a series of gigs to promote the launch.
