Time to meet White Light Parade... singers/guitarists/songwriters the brothers grim; Danny & Jono Yates, bass player Tom Emmett & female drummer Nici Todd. Three of them are from Bradford and one from Leeds.

Over the past couple of years WLP have spent their time on the road travelling up and down the country playing some of the most notable gigs along the way. In 2007 support tours with 'Switches' and 'The Enemy' caught the ears of many a fan, as well as A&R and music managers across the UK. 1965 Records invited them down to London to support The View just as 'Wasted Little DJs' hit the charts. WLP were also invited to perform at 'Music Live' in Bradford to play main support to 'The Jam' & 'The Bluetones' in front of thousands of people. As well as this the band has supported many other artists including: 'Boy Kill Boy', 'Good Shoes' and 'Kasabian'.

In February 2008 WLP released their debut LTD edition single through London indie label 'Split records', the single entered number 17 in the official BBC UK indie charts on its first week of release. White Light Parade were also tipped by Steve Harris 'XFM London' as his band for 2008 and has also played a live session for Clint Boon at XFM Manchester. The band has been pricking the ears of the UK music press with full support and thumbs up from the NME, Artrocker and the Guardian. In April 2008, the B-side to their debut single 'Riot In The City' Featured on 'Grand Theft Auto IV', released worldwide through Rockstar Games (NYC).

White Light Parade are now currently promoting their brand new single 'Turning All The Lights Down' set for release in May 2008 with support slots including: 'The Twang', 'The Rascals' and 'ASH'.

WLP are now in talks regarding an album deal... the band are now taking off with full momentum... so watch this space, be a part of the youth explosion & join the parade!
