With Leeds Festival 2006 almost upon us - excited yet? - Mean Fiddler have announced the availability of tickets for next year's festival. A limited number of weekend tickets for Leeds Festival 2007 will be available from 10am on Tuesday 29th August. Early purchasers will be able to buy the tickets at the 2006 prices (£135 plus booking fees).

From Tuesday, seetickets.com will be selling the weekend tickets for 2007. Alternatively, call the ticket line on 0870 060 3755 to buy over the phone.

And if you're still after day tickets for this year's festival then seetickets.com have a small number of Saturday tickets left.

And for those of you that didn't get a ticket this year, then you can see coverage of the event on the BBC. Covering both Leeds and Reading you can watch the best bits of the festival on BBC2 and BBC3.

In addition check out www.tiscali.co.uk/reading – although Reading won't be nearly as good as Leeds, at least you get to watch some of the Main Stage acts online!
