Leeds bands Jack Afro and Pen Knife Love Life have been selected as part of the Official Unsigned bands for In The City 2006, the annual music conference held in Manchester.

Both bands will appear on the official In The City compilation album, available to download now from iTunes for just £9.48 (a steal for 52 (!) of the best up and coming bands). To download the album, visit the ITC album page at the iTunes Store.

Last year saw The Sunshine Underground impress the crowds and delegates with a headlining show at Night & Day - the Leeds band are now on a sell-out UK headlining tour. This year, Jack Afro will play Cellar Vie on Monday, 30th October, whilst Pen Knife Love Life will make their In The City appearance at the same venue the following night.
