Transgressive Records have announced that the final date of their Roadshow at Leeds University on November 19th will receive an innovative simulcast on the virtual world website Second Life.

Featuring The Young Knives, The Subways, Larrikin Love, Ladyfuzz, Battle, Foals, Johnny Flynn, Duels and Polytechnic, the Transgressive Roadshow will commence at Manchester’s Warehouse Project on November 17th before moving onto Sheffield’s Plug the following night.

Second Life’s virtual broadcast of the Transgressive Roadshow gig will take place in The Blarney Stone, a pub based in the community’s virtual replica of Dublin.

The concept is as straightforward as it is creative. As each band performs in Leeds, their virtual incarnation (consisting of an avatar of each member) will simultaneously play in The Blarney Stone.

The Blarney Stone in Second Life has become one of the most popular live Music venues since it opened in April 2006.
