‘Once Beloved,’ the new single by Leeds-based Soul Diva Lara Rose will be released on Thursday, 15th February as a Digital Download. It will be available to buy on iTunes, Napster, Rhapsody, Emusic and all other digital download stores.

The single will be performed live for the first time on Friday, 26th January at the NCL’s (Nigerian Community Leeds) New Year's Party at the West Indian Community Centre.

Lara's earliest experiences in music where while studying at Fountain's School in Nigeria where she played an active role in the choir. Since moving back to Leeds she’s played Millennium Square with The New Mastersounds and toured with the James Taylor Quartet across the UK, USA, Europe and Asia.

Today she performs regularly at the Wardrobe and Hi-Fi, Leeds with new gigs planned for Tiger Tiger, later this year. Most recently she appeared alongside fellow Leeds vocal talents, Karlene Wray and Corinne Bailey Ray, at a James Brown tribute night, fronted by Rev Chunky (Cleve Freckleton).

‘Once Beloved’ is a co-release between Lara's Zolga label and the Leeds-based GLP (Groove Laboratory Productions) label which specialises in funk, soul, jazz and blues.
