Leeds band Chichino are set to host their own radio show. “Radio Chichino” will be broadcast from 11pm-midnight on 7th, 14th and 21st May (Wednesday evenings) on community station, Leeds Eleven FM, when the normally on-line station broadcasts on the FM frequency for a limited period.

Leeds Eleven FM has been broadcasting around the clock from March 3rd to April 30th, and during May it will operate from 6pm to midnight.

The radio station approached the band to host their own show, as they hail from the Beeston and South Leeds area, where the station is also based.

The Radio Chichino shows will feature the music that influenced Chichino: retro Leeds sounds like The Bridewell Taxis and Wedding Present, as well as up and coming bands from the South Leeds area such as The Wind Up Birds, Herdwhite and The Civil Service.

The show can be heard online at www.leedselevenfm.co.uk or on 87.9 FM.
