Following yesterday’s announcement revealing how the region’s bands can play at the Reading and Leeds Festival, organisers Festival Republic have today revealed further additions to the line-up.

The Alternative Stage returns for a second year and Leeds’ festival goers will be able to watch performances by Henry Rollins (spoken word, Saturday 23rd August) and Jeffrey Lewis (Sunday 24th August).

In other stage news, Plain White T’s and Mindless Self Indulgence will play the Main Stage on Friday 22nd August, while Pete & The Pirates will play the NME / Radio One Stage on the Saturday. And over on the Lock-Up Stage, Tiger Army, The Briggs and Blackhole were all added to the bill today.

Expect more announcements to follow.
