Portable Pony is currently a writing and recording project between friends and collaborators Emma Adams, Simon Moran and Rick Robinson. Emma and Simon played together in 'Galitza', having previously met during their membership of Leeds based seminal bands 'Chest' (Emma) and 'Landspeed Loungers' (Simon). 'Galitza' split in 2005. After this, Simon and Emma started writing scores for live drama, then songwriting naturally followed. Musical virtuoso, recordist and producer Rick got involved in early 2007 and the band are spending 2008 in the studio. Their debut E.P, 'Stellalona' is now available for free download at www.portablepony.com where some older tracks also exist. Some live dates will occur in early 2009..
