A host of Leeds bands will arrive at the Limetree Farm nature reserve at Grewelthorpe near Ripon in August when they play at the three-day Limetree Festival 2008.

The music and arts event takes place over the weekend of 1st August (1st-3rd) and features a top class line-up of bands across its three stages. As well as the music there will be funfair rides, comedy, cabaret, street theatre, late night cinema, art, poetry, politics, literature and more.

Headlining the Green Man Main Stage are Chunky Butt Funky, Global Police Force and The New Rope String Band. The Jason Rae Stage will showcase the best in local up and coming talent.

Weekend tickets are still available at £60. These include free camping with onsite showers. Onsite parking costs £5. Day tickets are priced at £45. Under- 16s go free when accompanied by an adult ticket holder.
