This is a review of "Crime Time" recorded by The Real Losers. The review was written by Sam Saunders in 2002.
Two tracks each. This is as bad as it gets. Pop Threat are less incompetent than The Real Losers, and they do have an idea in the first track (No Way Out) that could have been a Blondie out take if the shockingly bad middle eight was cut and session musicians were used.
But on the whole, if you think that stilted guitar cliches, stupid lyrics and horrible recording quality add up to some sort of youth rebellion you've been on the wrong planet for the last 25 years. This is the kind of trash rock that's emptying venues and strangling creativity across the nation.
